Data Deletion Instructions

GURU NETWORK S.R.L. ("Guru VPN") gives every user the right to request deletion of their personal data.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to support@guruvpn.com from the address linked to your Guru VPN account, with the subject "Data deletion request".
2. Include the email address of the account you want deleted.
3. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and confirm receipt within 5 business days.
4. Your account and associated personal data are deleted within 30 days of verification.

In-app deletion

You can also delete your account directly in the Guru VPN app: Settings > Account > Delete account. Deletion starts immediately and completes within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Account and profile data;
• Subscription and billing metadata, except records we must retain under Romanian and EU accounting law;
• Support correspondence;
• Diagnostic and analytics data linked to your account.

What is retained

We retain certain records where required by law, including invoices and tax records, for the statutory retention period. These are kept in a form not used for any purpose other than legal compliance.

If you signed in using Facebook Login, this process also removes the data received from Facebook.
